“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” – 1 John 4:7 (NIV).

The simple interpretation of the above word of God is that anyone who claims to know God but has no love for people actually does not know God.
We are not talking about the worldly definition of love or the definition of love by sinners or the sinful world.
The definition of love for the sinful world or sinners is lust, and we know that lust is sin, and all who practice lust has no inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
We are talking about clean and pure love, otherwise known as Agape love, the type of love that originates from God Almighty. It has not stain or impurities.
Love is at the very heart of God’s character, and is a great virtue that all children of God should possess. The Bible tells us that “God is love”, and He demonstrated the greatest act of love when He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [John 3:16] NIV.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. [Romans 5:6] NIV.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [Romans 5:8] NIV.
Jesus speaks of Himself, and said unto them ‘’Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends’’ Jesus laid down His own life, and shed His blood for us on the cross so that we may have eternal life. [John 15:13] NIV.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior has thought us that we should love all people without conditions, no matter whom they are or our relationship with them.
In fact, God has commanded us to have a heart without offence towards all people and God.
So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man. [Acts 24:16] NIV.
AS A BELIEVER IN CHRIST, YOU SHOULD HAVE A CLEAR CONSCIENCE BEFORE GOD AND MEN.
THERE SHOULD NEVER BE ENEMITY BETWEEN YOU AND SOMEONE, IF SOMEONE OFFENDS YOU FORGIVE HIM, AND IF YOU OFFEND SOMEONE YOU SHOULD ASK HIM FOR FORGIVENESS – THIS IS PLEASANT TO THE LORD OUR GOD.
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. [Matthew 22:35-40] KJV.
YOUR HEART IS PURE WHEN YOU LOVE PEOPLE, AND HAVE NO ENEMY. NO PERSON WITH DIRTY OR IMPURE HEART SHALL SEE THE LORD AS THE SCRIPTURE SAID.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [Matthew 5:8] KJV.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Matthew 5:43-48] NIV.
OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS COMMANDED HIS DISCIPLES AND EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES ON HIM TO LOVE WITHOUT CONDITIONS.
Jesus said unto them ‘’A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” [John 13:34-35] NKJV.
TO HATE SOMEONE IS SIN, AND IS A DISOBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD.
WE KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE NO HEAVEN FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE DISOBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURE.
WE MUST OBEY THE COMMANDMENT OF THE LORD FOR US TO QUALIFY FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
Again Jesus said unto them “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ [Matthew 7:21-23] NIV.
SOMEONE MIGHT BE SAYING THAT TO LOVE YOUR ENEMY AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO HATE YOU IS DIFFICULT.
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT WHEN WE TRY TO DO IT ON OUR OWN, BUT IT IS VERY EASY IS IF WE HAVE THE GRACE OF GOD AND WALK BY THE SPIRIT, BECAUSE GOD HAS PROVIDED THE GRACE OF GOD WITH WHICH WE CAN DO ALL THINGS.
YOU HAVE HEARD AND KNOW THAT THE GRACE OF GOD IS GREATER THAT SIN, AND THAT THE GOD OF GRACE HAS EQUIPPED HIS CHILDREN WITH HIS GRACE SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE THE POWER TO DO HIS WILL. GOD NEVER TELLS PEOPLE TO DO WHAT THEY CANNOT DO.
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. [Titus 2:11-14] NIV.
THE REASON GOD ALMIGHTY SACRIFICED JESUS CHRIST HIS SON ON THE CROSS IS FOR US TO RECEIVE THE GRACE OF GOD THAT CAME THROUGH THE SACRIFICE SO THAT WE CAN HAVE THE POWER TO OBEY AND DO THE WILL OF GOD.
But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. [John 1:12] KJV.
YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GRACE AND POWER OF GOD TODAY TO DO THE WILL OF GOD, AND TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENT. AMEN!
DID YOU THAT SIN DISAPPEARS COMPLETELY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE GRACE OF GOD. THAT IS WHY PAUL THE GREAT APOSTLE SAID I CAN DO ALL THINGS, EVEN THE THINGS THAT APPEARS IMPOSSIBLE THROUGH CHRIST.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. [Philippians 4:13] NKJV.
As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His love in our daily lives. Jesus commanded us, “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12). This kind of love is selfless, patient, forgiving, and enduring. It is not just a feeling, but an action—a choice to show kindness, extend grace, and serve others even when it is difficult.
Loving others isn’t always easy. People may hurt us, disappoint us, or be hard to love. But God calls us to love not just our friends, but even our enemies (Luke 6:27). When we love others, we reveal God’s presence in our lives and become a testimony of His transforming power.
IF YOU ASK GOD TODAY FOR THE GRACE AND POWER TO LOVE PEOPLE AND LIVE AND TO DO HIS WILL, HE WILL ANSWER YOU FOR SURE. THIS IS ASSURANCE THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN TO ALL WHO BELIEVES IN HIS NAME.
Jesus said ‘’And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it’’. [John 14:13-14] NIV.
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. [1 John 5:13-15] NIV.
NOW YOU CAN GO TO GOD IN PRAYER
FIRST OF ALL, YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR WAY RIGHT WITH GOD AND EVERYTHING YOU ASK IN PRAYER SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU IN JESUS NAME.
YOU NEED TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR, AND THEN YOUR PRAYERS SHALL BE ANSWERED BECAUSE SIN PREVENTS GOD FROM HEARING THE PRAYERS OF SINNERS AS THE WORD OF GOD SAID IN THE SCRIPTURE.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; [Psalm 66:18] NIV.
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. [John 9:31] NIV.
God Almighty has made every provision for you through His dear Son, Jesus Christ so that you can be made a child of God, and be counted among kings and priests in the Kingdom of God.
Will you accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God today as your Lord and Savior so that you can be made a son of God, and inherit eternal life in heaven?
Are you ready to confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior?
If your answer is yes, then pray this prayer of repentance and salvation.
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE AND SALVATION
Lord Jesus, for too long I have kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation into my soul. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to this world. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior now and forever. Amen.
IF YOU HAVE PRAYED THIS PRAYER WITH ALL YOUR HEART, YOU ARE NOW BORN AGAIN, AND YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD.
Praise be to God Almighty, and congratulation!
NOW YOU CAN ASK GOD FOR THE GRACE AND POWER TO LOVE AND DO HIS WILL
Pray that God should empower you and fill your heart with His love so you can share it with others.
Pray that God should empower you to show love through the acts of kindness—an encouraging word, a helping hand, or a simple prayer for someone in need.
Tell God you choose to forgive, even when it’s hard, and to help you to serve others without expecting anything in return.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Help me to reflect Your love in my words, actions, and attitude. Teach me to love like Jesus, even when it is hard. Fill my heart with compassion and kindness, so that others may see Your love through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
