The greatest enemy of mankind is the devil, who is also called the Satan.
He is the arch enemy of man. His only mission is to twist and steal the truth of the word of God and the privileges that God has made available to mankind. He kills not only the body but also the soul and spirit and he finally destroy anyone in his bondage perpetually in hell fire, where his creator the Almighty God has appointed to him.
Many people have no knowledge of this fact, so they simply and ignorantly dance to his manipulations, lies and deceptions.
All the catastrophes and difficulties in the world, and those which had happened to mankind were as a result of the deception of the devil.
Every agreement that mankind has had with the devil all through human history had always yielded punishment and destruction of people as evidently demonstrated in this article.
Wise people never agree or say yes to the devil, no matter how hard he pushes or tries to convince them with ‘sweet’ lies.
The devil is a thief, a murderer, a destroyer, a deceiver, a liar and the father of lies, he has the nature of lie.
The thief (devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus Christ) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. [John 10:10] NIV.
THE POWER TO RESIST AND OVERCOME THE DEVIL IS GIVEN TO EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES AND ACCEPTS JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR.
Jesus said unto them ‘’Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you’’ [Luke 10:19] NKJV.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” [John 8:12] NKJV.
Consequences of devils deceptions on humanity
The devil deceived the fallen angels, and were cast out of heaven
The devil was originally in heaven with God Almighty as one of the arch angels (angel Lucifer), at that time he was without sin until he became sinful (pride entered into him) and he led a rebellion in heaven. He cunningly lied to, and deceived some of the angels who rebelled against God with him, and they were all cast down to the earth (as fallen angels). His lies and deceptions started in heaven, and he has continued to lie and deceive people till today, and will continue until his final judgement when he shall be thrown (cast) into hell fire forever, together with the fallen angels and all people who has listened, or shall listen to his lies in disobedience and rebellion to God.
The Fall of Lucifer
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer (Devil), son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!
For you have said in your heart:
‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation
On the farthest sides of the north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High (God Almighty).’
Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol (Hades/Hell),
To the lowest depths of the Pit. [Isaiah 14:12-15] NKJV.
Satan Thrown Out of Heaven
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. [Revelation 12:7-9] NKJV.
One thing is sure, the judgement of God is coming soon, and all the sinners and those who are disobedient to God shall be cast into hell.
But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. [Psalm 9:7] NKJV.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. [Psalm 9:17] NKJV.
No wise person chooses the way of sin, because the consequences of sin is death, even eternal death in hell fire.
There is wisdom in the fear of God, and there life in righteousness.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
For through wisdom your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life. [Proverbs 9:10-11] NIV.
Why will you choose sin and death, in the stead of righteousness and life?
The devil deceived Adam and Eve, and Sin entered into mankind
God Almighty had created all things, and they were beautiful in His eyes.
He then created Adam in His own image, and after His own likeness and commanded Adam and Eve to multiply and have dominion on earth.
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” [Genesis 1:26-28] NIV.
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day. [Genesis 1:31] NIV.
God loves and cares for mankind since the beginning of the world. He made man, and gave him dominion over the works of his hands until the devil who is the arch enemy of man entered into the Garden of Eden with the mission to deceive man and take over the dominion that God had given him.
The devil lied to Eve, and deceived Adam and Eve into disobedient to God, so sin entered into Adam then to all mankind (human race).
God had given Adam this simple commandment:
The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” [Genesis 2:15-17] NIV.
The above commandment is not difficult to obey, and Adam had done so until the day the devil knocked at the door of his heart with lies, and deceived them into disobeying the commandment of God, and they ate from the ‘tree of the knowledge of good and evil’ and they died spiritually as God had said, and they were cursed by God, and cast out of the garden of Eden.
Since the fall (disobedience) of Adam in the Garden of Eden, mankind has suffered the consequences of sin, and the devil has enslaved them until God in His mercy and love sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to deliver mankind from their suffering and sins, and to give them life eternal.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. [Genesis 3:1-7] NIV.
So the Lord God banished him (Adam) from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After He (God) drove the man out, He placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. [Genesis 3:23-24] NIV.
The devil lied to them that they will not die, but they died spiritually after eating the fruit, and they lost their fellowship and relationship with God.
Again the devil lied to them that they will be like God, but they were not like God after eating the fruit, instead they were like the devil, having sinned and thrown out the Garden of Eden, just like the devil sinned and was thrown out of heaven with the fallen angels.
Adam and Eve were like God (full of God’s glory and righteousness and in fellowship with Him) when they were in obedience to God (when they had not eaten the fruit), but the moment the devil deceived them into disobedience they became sinful like the devil and were cursed and thrown (cast) out of the Garden of Eden to suffer the consequences of their sin.
Did you not know that anyone who is sinful (a sinner), and is in disobedience to God Almighty is a cursed person, and has a hanging judgement of eternal punishment and condemnation in hell fire forever?
Will you repent of all your sins today, confess them and ask God for mercy and forgiveness, then ask Jesus Christ the Son of God who God has appointed as Lord and Savior of mankind to be your Lord and Savior, and you shall be saved.
God Almighty has given His only Son, Jesus Christ as a sin offering so that whosoever believe in Jesus shall not die but shall have eternal life.
Did you know that Jesus Christ the son of God suffered, and died on the Cross of Calvary for you? He paid for the full punishment for your sins so that you may have eternal life if you believe and accept Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior today.
Jesus Christ has no sin, yet He was wounded for your sins, He deserved no punishment, but He received punishment for your iniquities so that you may be saved and have eternal life.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [Isaiah 53:5] KJV.
Your soul shall be healed, and you shall receive the peace of God and salvation if only you will accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior now.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son. God gave his Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through him. He who believes in God’s Son is not judged guilty. He who does not believe has already been judged guilty, because he has not believed in God’s only Son. [John 3:16-18] ICB.
Surely you know that the people who do wrong will not receive God’s kingdom. Do not be fooled. These people will not receive God’s kingdom: those who are sexually immoral, or worship idols, or take part in adultery, or men who have physical relations with other men, or steal, or are selfish, or get drunk, or lie about others, or cheat. In the past, some of you were like that. But you were washed clean. You were made holy. And you were made right with God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]homosexuals, nor [b]sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were [c]sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the [1 Corinthians 6:9-11] NKJV.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” [Acts 4:12] NKJV.
Jesus Christ is the only One who can save people from eternal death in hell fire. No one else in the world is able to save us, because God has not appointed anyone else but His only Son who died for all and shed His blood on the Cross of Calvary.
The Devil deceived the Generation of Noah into Violence and Wickedness
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth.
Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. [Genesis 6:5-14] NIV.
Noah did everything just as God commanded him. [Genesis 6:22] NIV.
The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. [Genesis 7:1] NIV.
Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.” [Genesis 7:4] NIV.
And after the seven days the floodwaters came on the earth.In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month—on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights. [Genesis 7:10-12] NIV.
For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits. Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark. [Genesis 7:17-23] NIV.
There is no much different between the evil in the generation of Noah and the evil in this generation. The judgement of God is coming soon, and no man knows when God has appointed the judgement, but surely it shall be.
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. [Matthew 24:37-39] NKJV.
The people in the generation of Noah never knew that judgement was determined against them, and it came upon them severely as a thief at night, and as a trap unaware. The same judgement shall come upon this generation as has been prophesied.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God is returning for Judgement to those who continues in their sins, and has refused to accept Him as the Lord and Savior.
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. [Hebrews 11:7] NKJV.
The divine warning for the judgement of God upon this world is coming to you today, will you move with godly fear and make your life good by turning to God in repentance through Christ, so that you may be saved.
The Devil deceived the land of Sodom and Gomorrah into sin
Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.” [Genesis 18:20-21] NIV.
The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.” [Genesis 19:12-13] NIV.
With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.” When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!” [Genesis 19:15-17] NIV.
By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. [Genesis 19:23-26] NIV.
Lease, dDo not hesitate to flee from sin so that you will not be overthrown by the LORD.
If God rained severe punishment upon Sodom and Gomorrah, do you think this generation will be spared, knowing that God is not a respecter of persons? His fairness and justice requires that He is fair in His Judgement.
“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen. [Ezekiel 16:49-50] NIV.
Are you involved in practicing detestable things (sins) today? Repent from your sins so that God will not do away with you, but have mercy on you.
Accept Jesus Christ His SThon so that you may have eternal life.
“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. [Luke 17:28-30] NIV.
The world we live is highly corrupt and perverse, and people does not care about God. They want to do what pleases them.
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. [Jude 7] NIV.
Assuredly, God in His fair Judgement will punish this generation for colluding with the devil and all the forces of the kingdom of darkness to do all the wickedness, immorality and perversion that have ravaged this world.
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”[Jude 14-15] NKJV.
Will you repent and escape the Judgement of God Almighty or remain in your ungodly way and get punished and destroyed in hell forever?
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God (Jesus Christ) appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister. [1 John 3:7-10] NIV.
The reason Jesus Christ came to this world, and died on the Cross of Calvary was to destroy the work of the devil in your life, liberate you from the consequences of sin and reconcile you back to God His Father.
You cannot continue to sin if you are born of God (if you are a child of God) because the seed of God (the Spirit of God) remains inside you.
You have continued to sin because you still have the seed of the devil (the sinful nature inherit from Adam which the devil planted in Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden).
You will have the nature of Christ (the nature of righteousness) if you will be willing to accept Him now into your heart as your Lord and Savior, so that He will destroy the nature of sin (destroy the work of the devil) in your life.
The Son of God (Jesus Christ) was made the Son of Man, so that He can make sons of men to become sons of God.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He (Jesus Christ) is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He (Christ) is pure. [1 John 3:1-3] NKJV.
And (Jesus Christ) hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. [Revelation 5:10] KJV.
God Almighty has made every provision for you through His dear Son, Jesus Christ so that you can be made a child of God, and be counted among kings and priests in the Kingdom of God.
Will you accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God today as your Lord and Savior so that you can be made a son of God, and inherit eternal life in heaven?
Are you ready to confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior?

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE AND SALVATION
Lord Jesus, for too long I have kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation into my soul. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to this world. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior now and forever. Amen.
