Sin and Death in Adam, Salvation and Life in Christ
The fall of Adam and Eve from glory in the Garden of Eden brought death to all mankind, and so all men were condemned to death (eternal death in hell fire) by the Almighty God due to the sin of disobedient.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [Romans 3:23 NKJV].
Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. [Romans 3:24 NLT].
Jesus Christ who is the last Adam was obedient to God, so in His obedience eternal life is given to all who believe on the work He did on the Cross of Calvary and accept Him as their Lord and Savior– Jesus was sacrificed as a sin offering by crucifixion on the Cross, He shed His blood and died for the sin of the world. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of mankind.
While the first Adam was disobedient to God, the last Adam, Jesus Christ was obedient to God His Father – Jesus was faithful in all the house of God.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. [Philippians 2:5-11 NKJV].
Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. For this One (Jesus Christ) has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. [Hebrews 3:1-6 NKJV]
Therefore, just as through one man (first Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. [Romans 5:12 NKJV].
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as through one man’s offense (the disobedience of Adam in the garden of Eden) judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act (the righteous act of Jesus Christ by His obedience to God His Father to be used as a sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary as a sin offering for all mankind) the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. [Romans 5:15-19 NKJV].
So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [Romans 5:21 NKJV].
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. [1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NKJV].
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. [1 John 2:15-17 NKJV].
Everyone born of woman in this world inherited the nature of sin from Adam, and so all mankind are condemned to eternal death in hell fire forever. For it is written ”the soul that sins must die” and ”the wicked (sinners) shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forgets God” But God in His Mercy and Love sacrificed His only Son, Jesus Christ as a sin offering on the Cross of Calvary so that all who believe and accept Jesus into their heart as Lord and Savior shall have eternal life.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. [Psalm 9:17 KJV].
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. [John 3:16-18 NLT]
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. [Titus 2:11-14 NKJV].
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” [John 3:3 NKJV].
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam (Jesus Christ) became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man (Adam) was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man (Jesus Christ) is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man (if we believe and accept Him as Lord and Savior). [1 Corinthians 15:45-49 NKJV].
You shall be made in the likeness of Jesus Christ if you believe and accept Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior, so that you can be with Him in Heaven at the event of death which God has appointed to all men.
For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence. Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. [Hebrews 9:24-28 NIV].
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. [1 John 3:9 NKJV].
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. [Revelation 1:5-6 KJV].
For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One (Christ) died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him (Christ) who died for them and rose again. [2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NKJV].
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. [2 Corinthians 5:17-21 NKJV].
But it is true! Christ has been raised from the dead! He was the first One to be raised from the dead and all those who are in graves will follow. Death came because of a man, Adam. Being raised from the dead also came because of a Man, Christ. All men will die as Adam died. But all those who belong to Christ will be raised to new life. This is the way it is: Christ was raised from the dead first. Then all those who belong to Christ will be raised from the dead when He comes again. Next, at the end of the world, Christ will give His holy nation over to God the Father. Christ will have destroyed every nation and power. Christ must be King until He has destroyed all those who hate Him and work against Him. [1 Corinthians 15:20-25 NLV].
The day of the Lord will come as a robber comes. The heavens will pass away with a loud noise. The sun and moon and stars will burn up. The earth and all that is in it will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, you should think about the kind of life you are living. It should be holy and God-like. You should look for the day of God to come. You should do what you can to make it come soon. At that time the heavens will be destroyed by fire. And the sun and moon and stars will melt away with much heat. We are looking for what God has promised, which are new heavens and a new earth. Only what is right and good will be there. Dear friends, since you are waiting for these things to happen, do all you can to be found by Him in peace. Be clean and free from sin. [2 Peter 3:10-14 NLV].
What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.
But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. [1 Corinthians 15:50-57].
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. [1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NLT].
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. [1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 NLT].
The Lord Jesus Christ is returning again, and very soon to take His saints away in rapture. Will you go with Him when He comes? Your faith in Him today will fetch you everlasting life in Heaven with the Lord Jesus.
We encourage you to make haste to receive Him into your life now, and you shall be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [Romans 10:10 NKJV].
Your soul is in need of Salvation, and it has so pleased God Almighty to reconcile you back to Himself through Jesus Christ His Son.
The blood of atonement that Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary is for you and for all mankind.
There is nothing in this world, but sickness, sins, sorrows and sufferings.
You have wandered far away, do not risk another day, and tomorrow may be late.
Do not turn away your face from God, but today accept His free grace.
Will you not come to Jesus Christ right now so that you may have eternal life?
Come to Christ now, confess and forsake your sins today that you may receive forgiveness.
Trust in Jesus today, and always and He will save you now, and forever. Amen!
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. [II Corinthians 6:1-2 NKJV].
Are you ready to confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior?
If your answer is yes, then pray this prayer of repentance and salvation.
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE AND SALVATION
Lord Jesus, for too long I have kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation into my soul. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to this world. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior now and forever. Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer with all your heart, you are now born again, and you are a child of God.
Praise be to God Almighty, and congratulation!
